CXU - Download

A. Check whether CXU is already available for you.
Log on to your most used TSO-session. Type in command TSO CXU and press Enter.
If the answer is "Command not found" then proceed with B. Read and accept The CXU license agreement.
If not you can already use CXU. Please follow the guidelines in the displayed ISPF message.

If you want to download CXU free of charge please follow these steps:
1. Click on and the file is saved as cxu.xmt in your download folder.
2. Transfer the file cxu.xmt from your PC to your TSO-session and unpack the file as described here.
3. This is optional, but strongly recommended: Verify the transferred cxu.xmt file in TSO. Read more here.
4. Configure CXU for your TSO-session as described here.
You are now ready to use CXU. Try these examples and explore the CXU manual.

If you want to download CXU source code for free please follow these steps:
1. Click on and the file is saved as cxufree.xmt in your download folder.
2. Transfer the file cxufree.xmt from your PC to your TSO-session and unpack the file as described here, but use cxufree.xmt instead of cxu.xmt.
3. This is optional, but strongly recommended: Verify the transferred cxufree.xmt file in TSO. Read more here.
